January fun

A lot has been happening lately, I forget to blog, because I want to post pictures, but put off downloading them. It is a better picture if you can visually see it all too! So here is the latest, with pictures!

Aiden finally lost his front tooth. He waits until it practically falls out, which is what happened. He also had a birthday. This year was different, He wanted no party, no celebration at school, just a family dinner out. We went to Applebees then he got to pick out a bike he wanted. He had a hard time picking, but it was a great price. Now he is anxious to ride it, but it is too cold, and too icy to ride. So he will have to wait... Trinity is loving being the big sister, she is close beside me wherever the baby is and wants to hold Liberty all the time.

We got the kids a pet, pet mice. They were part of a Christmas gift. They named them, Alex, Josh, and Butter. They were fun to watch and very busy! Larry said the stink was too much to handle. So we went back to Petco and exchanged them for Gerbils. They are cute, we got the babies, but they are supposed to grow. The kids love them even more and get to handle them daily. They are social animals and love to burrow. Not stinky at all. Their names are, Gianna, Dust bunny, and Burnt Toast. Gideon named them after food. It is cute, he came up with the names on his own.

I don't think we are done with the snow yet, but everyone is looking forward to it melting. Lately it has been a beautiful winter. Up on the hill, we get the ice crystals forming on the trees. It is beautiful. All the trees are white. It is caused by the precipitation from the fog. No need for more snow. It is very cold though, in the 20's. I bundle the kids up to walk Aiden to the bus stop. They prefer to walk on the snow instead of the sidewalk, and by the time we get back home, their cheeks and noses are red! It is just enough time to get some fresh air, play and then get warm again.

At home we are juggling it all with a new baby. She is my little interruption. It can be nice, but sometimes I am holding her a lot. Larry has been doing great giving her a bottle, so I can go out on my own. That way he definitely will get some one on one time with her. She can sleep up to 5 hours at night. It depends on the night. There really is no fixed routine. She is beginning to notice the world around her. It is fun! She is also growing. Now she weighs about 10 lbs. She is continuing to amaze us. We adore having her in our family.
