We had a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving. We visited some friends 6 hours from Spokane. The kids did a great job in the car on the way there and back. They live on a farm, so the kids had plenty to do and see. The kids also played a ton of card games and video games for Aiden. Trinity was loving all over their kitty. It was fun nonstop. I helped contribute food wise, but didn't slave in the kitchen. That was a nice break! We took naps, stayed up late, put the kids to bed early, watched movies, visited a waterfall, ate, had a bonfire, talked, ate some more. Typical stuff. The surprise came when we got home...... we missed the first snowfall. It would have been Friday.... Larry was sad, but we will have plenty of snow days here soon. The picture is what was left.... no shopping this year for us. That tradition is long gone... and a relief. No stress, no traffic, no crowds!
